Disaster Preparedness and Response Training

To further enhance our Disaster Preparedness and Response Training Programs,  ReNew’s Facilities all over California participated in the ‘Shake Out’ Drill which was to be conducted across the Untied States on Thursday, 10/19/2017 at 10:19am.

Millions of people worldwide will practice how to Drop, Cover, and Hold On at 10:19 a.m. on October 19* during Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drills, which began in California in 2008.

Homeless Health Care Los Angeles (HHCLA) is a community-based organization doing whatever is necessary to help homeless people secure housing and to stay housed. HHCLA collaborate with clients to create a plan addressing their health and mental health concerns. By providing a full suite of services — such as needle exchange, overdose prevention, and Medically Assisted Treatment Therapy (MATT) — they seek to improve their clients’ quality of life, which is instrumental in reducing the impact of homelessness in LA County.

JFMC was founded in 1996 by LaWanda Hawkins when her only child, Reggie was murdered. LaWanda, along with other parents who had lost children to homicide discovered that their cases were going unsolved and that they had been left out of the criminal justice process. Together they felt the need to form Justice For Murdered Children. JFMC mission includes Family Support Services, Prevention & Intervention as well as Legal Advocacy.
